Vintage Resin American? Bulldog Figurine Paperweight 3” Tall Heavy

The figurine is in beautiful condition. There is some wear to the felt on the bottom. Please see photos.
I believe this is made of resin that is made to resemble bronze / metal. It is not cold to the touch like metal, though.
It is very highly detailed. I believe this is an American Bulldog.  It is approximately 3 inches tall.
