Steel provides more strength and forgiveness from denting than an aluminum frame found on typical doors. But hold on, you're probably thinking that they are heavy, but the reality is that they are only about 7 pounds a door heavier than aluminum doors. Hardly anything to worry about and worth it for the added strength and durability steel provides. Speaking of other RZR doors on the market, they don't come with the aluminum skins pre-attached like these do! This saves you about 2 hours of installation labor!
